**** The garbage emergency in Campania ****
From long time, Campania suffers from an annual state of emergency connected to the disposal of the garbage.
The people of the cities of Naples, Caserta and their provinces, are forced to live for long time with the garbage under their houses because the disposal doesn’t work as it should.
The dumps are full and people don't want the incinerators. Some sites protected by WWF seems to be designated to be next dumps.
*** The Rule of Mafia ***
For mafia, the garbage represents a true business. Many abusive dumps created by mafia are used for chemical liquids and other dangerous substances Also rivers, fields and lakes are used to hide lethal substances. Industries and hospitals pay a "competitive" price to mafia in order to delivery their chemical garbage that will be buried somewhere in Campania.

The crisis of tourism is now a big problem. More than 20% of tourists cancelled their journey for the fear to be infected.

Dioxin is one of the ecological problems. Desperate people fire the garbage on the streets causing the dispersion of dioxin in the air. Others throw garbage away in the rivers, in the sea.

Dioxin, rats, beatles, tumours and children malformation are a sad reality. Many people, every year, are victims of different forms of tumours or other diseases.
