There are not too many cities in the world that can be considered as famous as Jerusalem. The uniqueness of Jerusalem is that it is the capital of the three main monoterteist religions. Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
The city, for this very reason, is the destination, every year, of thousands of pilgrims from all over the world. Jerusalem unites the old and the new, the holy and the secular, the earthly and the divine under one roof Whether you are a believer or not, it’s hard to remain indifferent to Jerusalem.

Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem

It is certainly one of the most important monuments of Christianity, perhaps the most important of all. It was the last stage traveled by Jesus to reach the place where he was crucified (Golgotha Hill). It is said that the tomb of Jesus is located right inside the building and is completely armored. Israel is of course the true holy land.

The Wailing Wall

The holiest site for Judaism, the Wailing Wall is the western segment of the wall that surrounded the Temple of Hordus, the place to which Jews have prayed for thousands of years and where they complain of destruction of their temple. The compound is divided into two areas, the left side is for men, while the right is for women. The dress code is strict and visitors are required to dress modestly.
