Fabrizio Fiorenzano, born in 1965, of Jewish origins, since 1998 develops his passion for visual communication, starting with digital art with which he won, in 2001, the fourth prize “Lorenzo il Magnifico” at the International Biennial of Contemporary Art in Florence.
He is also, and above all, a reportage photographer, a way of seeing photography born during his travels in Vietnam, Cambodia, Israel, Pakistan, Thailand, Nepal.
Always close to the realities of South East Asia, very attentive to Middle Eastern events and social issues such as childhood, old age, poverty, he is also a fan of architecture photography and cultural heritage.
With the work “Sassi di Matera” won, in 2002, the first national photographic prize Unesco Italy, organized in the year of the Heritage, to reward the best photography that represented an Italian site declared World Heritage.
He also won the third Unesco prize, “Premio popolare”, with a work on Villa Adriana.
He has exhibited his works, both photographic and digital art, at the Biennale of Florence, in Lubjana, Capri, Ischia (Villa Arbusto), Sorrento and bookshop “Evaluna” in Naples.
Although born in Italy, he prefers not to attribute a specific nationality, if not to feel himself an integral part of this world and, therefore, a citizen of the world.
